kip3d Welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Fabrizio Fioretti and I am a 3Dartist. I was born and grew up in Italy, where I studied art at the department of “Electronic Imaging” of The Institute of Art of Ancona. There I learned classical techniques such as drawing, clay modelling and the fundamentals of computer graphics. In 2001 I attended a course in “3D modelling and animation in Maya”, organized by the DarkSide Training Centre of Veron. I then chose to work principally in the CGI field starting my career at a few small companies around my town and freelancing. In 2006 I decided to move to London looking for more experience and challenges, as well as to meet people who share my same passion in a more international environment. Over the past three years I worked at Candylab/The3DAgency on both illustration and animation for advertisement. Here I had a very good experience as a Maya generalist covering most of the pipeline, from sketch to final render and comp. Recently I have joined BlueBolt vfx as a modeller/generalist TD, working on visual effects for film and TV. During these years I have developed a very strong interest in character design, digital sculpting using Zbrush, and lighting. Aspects where I am focusing on and improving all the time.
